3D measurement of ski coating structure

In close cooperation with technicians of the DSV (German Ski Accosiation) and the chief technician Uwe Bellmann, GFM supports the DSV in its technology center in Bad Reichenhall (Germany) in optimizing the bevelling structures of cross-country and jump ski for the national teams Nordic and Biathlon.

3D measurement of ski edges

Form and radius of ski edges are an important performance characteristic esp. in ski racing. By a close cooperation with the company Wintersteiger, a world-wide leader of preparation of ski edges, GFM measurement systems are used for the measurement of alpine skis.

3D measurement of luge toboggan skids

As we do know not only since the great success of our toboggans athletes Silke Otto and Georg Hackl , the skis are the most important performance characteristics of an luge toboggan. In close cooperation with the national trainer Mr. Thomas Schwab, GFM accomplished detailed examinations on the 3D measurement of luge toboggan skids.
