In the past, our investigation of dynamic skin reactions like wheals in allergy testing or urticaria was done practically, and with some difficulty via subjective, crude and manual measurement procedures.
In contrast to this the PRIMOS system allows for fast, simple, accurate and objective in-vivo measurement of surface profiles. Apart from the volume of the measured skin changes, PRIMOS computes additional important information such as diameters, height, surface and roughness.
