The GFM 3-Axis tool holder consists of three rotary axes in-tended for coarse and fine positioning of tools. Due to its modular design, the tool holder can be extended within a few seconds or can be used as 1- or 2-axis systems as well.
Coarse positioning is performed by means of a knurled screw.
Fine adjusting is performed using micro screws and allows for high precision positioning of the work piece.

| The 2-axis version is designed for receiving tools, which are to be positioned with a rotation about the vertical and horizontal axes.

| The 1-axis version allows for rotation about the vertical axis and is very suitable for measuring tasks to be performed on measuring objects which are to be positioned and measured vertically. The maxi-mum length of the work piece is limited by the adapter plateof the cross table. The maximum in-sertion depth of the tool shank is
115 mm.
